How should I go about creating smokey eyes for my friends party coming up :] It's fancy attire so it needs to be sophisticated and sexy at the same time. I pretty bright, open eyes that are topaz with a light olive tint.

I'd say go for a nice brown eye shadow and smudged that over your eyelids. Use a cream eyeshadow up to your brow and blend that in really well. Use a kohl eye liner like the rimmel one and put a thick line on the top of your eyelids and flick it out a bit in the corners. Then using your finger smudge it in a bit so it looks smoky. Put a think line under the lash line and smudge that in too. Then use a mascara like loreal beauty tubes and put on loads of mascara on your top lashes but only put a little on your bottom.
