An Angel Among Us: We Called Him Michael Jackson
As a 6 year old, I began falling in love with Michael Jackson. I actually felt as though I recognized him. This love grew with each passing day, each passing year, and will continue to grow forever. Over the course of my lifetime (I'm 48), through dreams and experiences, I've come to realize that I indeed have been connected to Michael for eons..."for all time." When Michael left on June 25th 2009, I was devastated. I felt as though the floor had dropped away. My sadness was overwhelming, until I knew that I had to write down on paper everything I have always believed to be true about him. The book I wrote was to show my eternal love, respect and honor for him. It is titled "An Angel Among Us: We Called Him Michael Jackson." It is sold on Amazon.com, with a portion of each sale going to charity in Michael's name.
I used many sources to write it, such as: the Bible, biblical numerology, traditional numerology, Egyptian lore, astrology, writings on Archangel Michael, evolution of Spirit in our society (Age of the Mother, Age of the Father, New Age of the Child), Michael's life and good deeds, and much more. I made nothing up; I just reported on what I found. I believe all the synchronicities, coincidences, and symbols are too many to actually be coincidences. They are signs from God. All my life I have noticed the little (and sometimes big) guideposts and signs that let me know I was on the right path. This is what I tried to do with the book I wrote. I wanted to help people to see how all the puzzle pieces of Michael's life fit so perfectly together. I just investigated the assumptions I've carried about Michael my whole life. This is what I believe, and what so many others around the world believe, that he was an angel in human form, sent to love, teach and inspire us. He traveled the planet 8 times seeing the beauty and hardship for himself. He was so in love with the planet, people and animals.
When this book is read with an open mind and open heart, it's easy to see that Michael was God's messenger for this New Age of the Child. He was sent here to remind us of what was really important: our children, our planet, ourselves. Michael's whole life was orchestrated by God.
I believe that Michael had the ancient soul of an angel, with the curious heart of a child, making him a divine human. Did he experience some problems in his life? Yes, he did. He was human after all. Imagine how hard it must have been for him: an angel trying to fit in with his family of humanity. And, although we are still a family without him, it is painfully apparent that our angelic brother is no longer at the head of the table. His earthly magic is gone, but his spiritual magic will live forever. Faithful followers around the world are heeding his lessons now and we will always. Projects like: planting trees in his name, donating to his favorite charities, Patchwork Blankets of Love for Ms. Katherine and his children, Tribute Portrait "I'm a Dot", video tributes, tribute books of poetry, and more. Michael's love fills us from continent to continent, and we are connecting with one another in his name.
Michael always said that his main work in life was to bring love and joy to the planet: "to heal and to make happy." He traveled the planet 8 times seeing firsthand the beauty and the suffering. He never did a concert without also visiting an orphanage, hospital or burn center, in that town. He is in the Guinness World Record book for giving more money to charity (nearly 400 million) than any other entertainer. He loved the planet, the people so much, and he deserves our love and respect.
I believe his true nature is divine and his place in the history of this planet is sacred. However, I'm not asking people to simply take my word for it. I am asking them to read my book and discover the truth for themselves. I present Michael's life as the spiritual journey is was. Whether you are a fan or not, this book offers interesting and compelling food for thought. I feel it is how I can fulfill my destiny, which is to be a strong woman in Michael's life, as I have been forever. It's up to us, his faithful followers and beautiful believers, to continue to try to protect him and silence the haters. Also within my reach, I know that there are many "fence setters" as I call them, who are not quite sure about Michael. I want to show them that they can trust their instincts and go with their hearts. Deep inside, they've known that there is a bigger picture when it comes to Michael's life. My book shows the rational and reasonable bigger picture. Yes, he was an amazing humanitarian, a wonderful family man and father, the greatest entertainer that ever lived, a fantastic songwriter, singer and dancer...but he meant so very much more to us than all that. He was our spiritual leader for 50 years. I believe he was an embodiment of the Archangel Michael. Evidence shows this.
I would also ask that people read the book "Dancing the Dream" by Michael himself. It is full of his poems, prose, and parables giving you a glimpse into his soul and deep insight into the human condition. I read "Dancing the Dream" often. Also, if you want the real facts concerning the false allegations against him, read "Michael Jackson Conspiracy" by Aphrodite Jones. It's a long and detailed description of every minute of the whole ugly mess. Your eyes will be opened. You know, I heard Geraldo Rivera say once that he investigated the allegations against Michael for 10 years, trying to find the smoking gun. He found no evidence at all that would point to any wrong doings. He said at the end of his investigation he concluded that it was one of the best frame jobs he had ever seen and Michael was innocent! It is so sad that this wonderful, sweet, kind and generous man was put through so much misery. Michael didn't deserve that.
He said that he was gifted by God with the gift of divine union, which he interpreted through song and dance. This is how he captured the world's attention in order to do God's work. We let him into our hearts and he planted the seeds of love. Michael had a vision of one family/one world/one God. You must remember that he was a messenger for the MTV generation. So, he taught us with beautiful images and lovely music designed to catch a planet's attention. What better way to reach such a huge and diverse population than through music? His concerts were like spiritual revivals. He touched the hearts of the very old to the very young. It was the perfect medium for this time in our history. Hisbody was the vessel through which he channeled the white, hot energy of God's love. This incredible energy is what we were all driven to love and admire.
I would like people to give this concept a real chance. If read with an open mind and open heart, not presuming you know God's will, you will feel amazing love and clarity of mind. You will feel Michael. He told us, "We are not separate, you and I."
It's all for love....... L~O~V~E
About the Author
I am a 48 year old single mom to a beautiful, smart, creative, 14 (nearly) yr. old daughter. I am university educated with a teaching degree also. I teach 5th grade at a nice school in Cecilia, Louisiana. My interests include reading, pets, jewlery making, family, comedies and science fiction movies, and championing Michael.
I believe in order to live a more spiritually enlightened, more fully enriched life, a person must find meaning, love and peace. I have always had these in my life, but then again, I have always had Michael in my life.
Seventh Day Adventist and Jehovah's Witnesses teach that Jesus was actually Michael the ArchAngel?
So my question is for those who teach and believe that about Jesus and those who do not believe that about Jesus.Which this is for those who believe that ,WHY? And your proof as Jesus accepted Worship of him self and were not to Worship no one but GOD.And for those who do not believe that Jesus is Michael the ArchAngel; WHY?
Is Jesus Christ the same person as Michael the archangel?
The name of this Michael appears only five times in the Bible. The glorious spirit person who bears the name is referred to as “one of the chief princes,” “the great prince who has charge of your [Daniel’s] people,” and as “the archangel.” (Dan. 10:13; 12:1; Jude 9, RS) Michael means “Who Is Like God?” The name evidently designates Michael as the one who takes the lead in upholding Jehovah’s sovereignty and destroying God’s enemies.
At 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (RS), the command of Jesus Christ for the resurrection to begin is described as “the archangel’s call,” and Jude 9 says that the archangel is Michael. Would it be appropriate to liken Jesus’ commanding call to that of someone lesser in authority? Reasonably, then, the archangel Michael is Jesus Christ. (Interestingly, the expression “archangel” is never found in the plural in the Scriptures, thus implying that there is only one.)
Revelation 12:7-12 says that Michael and his angels would war against Satan and hurl him and his wicked angels out of heaven in connection with the conferring of kingly authority on Christ. Jesus is later depicted as leading the armies of heaven in war against the nations of the world. (Rev. 19:11-16) Is it not reasonable that Jesus would also be the one to take action against the one he described as “ruler of this world,” Satan the Devil? (John 12:31) Daniel 12:1 (RS) associates the ‘standing up of Michael’ to act with authority with “a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time.” That would certainly fit the experience of the nations when Christ as heavenly executioner takes action against them. So the evidence indicates that the Son of God was known as Michael before he came to earth and is known also by that name since his return to heaven where he resides as the glorified spirit Son of God.
Worship in the Bible
First, we have to understand what Paul meant here by worship. He used the Greek word pro‧sky‧ne′o. Unger’s Bible Dictionary says that this word literally means to ‘kiss the hand of someone in token of reverence or to do homage.’ An Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, by W. E. Vine, says that this word “denotes an act of reverence, whether paid to man . . . or to God.” In Bible times pro‧sky‧ne′o often included literally bowing down before someone of high stature.
Consider the parable Jesus gave of the slave who was unable to repay a substantial sum of money to his master. A form of this Greek word appears in this parable, and in translating it the King James Version says that “the servant therefore fell down, and worshipped [form of pro‧sky‧ne′o] him [the king], saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.” (Matthew 18:26; italics ours.) Was this man committing an idolatrous act? Not at all! He was merely expressing the kind of reverence and respect due the king, his master and superior.
Such acts of obeisance, or expressions of respect, were fairly common in the Orient of Bible times. Jacob bowed down seven times upon meeting his brother, Esau. (Genesis 33:3) Joseph’s brothers prostrated themselves, or did obeisance, before him in honor of his position at the Egyptian court. (Genesis 42:6) In this light we can better understand what happened when the astrologers found the young child Jesus, whom they recognized as “the one born king of the Jews.” As rendered in the King James Version, the account tells us that they “fell down, and worshipped [pro‧sky‧ne′o] him.”—Matthew 2:2, 11.
Clearly, then, the word pro‧sky‧ne′o, rendered “worship” in some Bible translations, is not reserved exclusively for the type of adoration due Jehovah God. It can also refer to the respect and honor shown to another person. In an effort to avoid any misunderstanding, some Bible translations render the word pro‧sky‧ne′o at Hebrews 1:6 as “pay him homage” (New Jerusalem Bible), “honour him” (The Complete Bible in Modern English), “bow down before him” (Twentieth Century New Testament), or “do obeisance to him” (New World Translation).
