Will a 24-carat gold plated bracelet make my wrist go green?
If there's any way I can prevent it rubbing onto my skin can someone help me, I've just been given a really expensive Disney charm bracelet, it's gorgeous but it's plated! I'd be gutted if I ruined it!

Once the gold rubs off and exposes the base metal underneath it your skin could discolor depending on what the base metal is made of. You can use clear nail polish to cover/protect the gold plating but if you use too much of it, it will detract from it's appearance.
